T he Grove Arcade, fully restored in 2002, is a Class-A retail, commercial, and residential complex located in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina. The Grove Arcade is on the National Registry of Historic Places and a local historic landmark by the Historic Resources Commission of Asheville and Buncombe County. The building is approximately 255,000 square feet. The 1st floor retail area consists of 35 retailers/restaurants. Six commercial tenants occupy the second floor, and forty-two residential apartments occupy the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. The building covers one city block.
